The menu changes every week, but will include one meat, one fish and one veggie pasta dish together with various toppings on Lino's famous homemade Pizza's













Lino has now introduced a starter each week. this is currently Mussels in a white wine, garlic and tomato sauce. JUST £3.50!!!


http://www.thestrathmorearms.co.uk/newsOur 2011/2012 competition starts on September 27th . We have our 12 competitors in place, and they are busily practising their recipes.



Once a month the competitors have to prepare themselves (absolutely no physical help allowed) a 100% self made dessert**, either hot or cold, as simple or extravagant as they wish..



The club will be run on a competitive league basis, between September 2011 and March 2012 ( No competition in December). Essentially the club is a winter thing as many will be away etc at times during the summer.



Each month there will be a different judge who will taste all the desserts and award the following prizes..

ist place 4 points

2nd place 3 points

3rd place 2 points

all entrants will receive 1 point for submitting their entry



The desert will be delivered to the pub by a set time on a set day each month for judging.



* Men only because you ladies are far too good and we would not stand a chance!



**self made dessert means that no purchased custards, sauces, pastries, sponge mixes, trifle sponges etc will be allowed.
